At Ready Set Go, we embrace challenges, especially those that enhance community experiences. Our recent collaboration with JCC Prosserman, a thriving community center in North York, Toronto, presented an opportunity to significantly improve their facility access system.
JCC Prosserman, a key community hub in North York, was facing significant issues with their manual facility access process. Members were experiencing delays, and staff were overwhelmed with the administrative burden. Ready Set Go stepped in to provide an automated solution to streamline operations and improve the member experience.
JCC Prosserman’s manual process for managing facility access was both inefficient and burdensome. Members had to wait while staff manually checked them in and activated their access cards. This outdated system led to errors and consumed considerable staff time, particularly during peak hours, making it clear that a streamlined, automated solution was needed.
To address these issues, we proposed an automated system that would integrate JCC Prosserman’s membership management system, Club Automation, with their facility access system, C-Cure. This integration would ensure that new members' access cards were activated automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
"We used Club Automation’s well-documented API to send information over to C-Cure. Even though C-Cure didn’t have an API, we found creative solutions to make it work," explained Dayton Pereira, Head of Product Design and Strategy at Ready Set Go. The automated system also set access levels based on membership types, covering different facilities and parking.

The impact was significant. Members could now enter the facility quickly, reducing wait times and enhancing their overall experience. The staff, relieved from the manual workload, could focus on more critical tasks, improving operational efficiency. Automating these processes ensured a seamless experience for JCC Prosserman members from the start.
Additionally, we extended functionality to accommodate guests, ensuring they had seamless access to parking and facilities. This enhancement further improved the overall user experience, making it more convenient and enjoyable.
JCC Prosserman plans to expand this automation to other areas of their operations. The success of this project has paved the way for future innovations, enhancing the experiences of both members and staff.
